Hydrogeological Investigations
We design and deliver fit-for-purpose hydrogeological investigations that stand up to technical and regulatory scrutiny. Our work spans desktop assessments, targeted drilling, hydraulic testing, monitoring and sampling, with clear, decision-ready reporting for development, infrastructure, mining and environmental projects.
What We Do
How We Work
We characterise hydrostratigraphy, quantify groundwater occurrence and movement, and translate measurements into practical inputs for design, approvals and risk management.
Programs are planned to answer specific decisions—minimising footprint while maximising confidence—and are aligned to AS 1726 (Geotechnical Site Investigations) and relevant EPA/NEPM guidance.

Core Investigation Methods
- Aquifer testing: step-drawdown, constant-rate and recovery analyses to determine sustainable yield, well efficiency and interference.
- Slug testing: rising/falling-head tests in screened bores for rapid permeability estimates in sands, silts and gravels.
- Packer testing: single/double-packer interval tests in rock to identify transmissive fractures and depth-resolved permeability.
- Bore siting & construction supervision: locations, depths, screen/slot selection, gravel-pack gradation and development.

Standards, QA/QC and Compliance
- Bore construction follows the Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia.
