Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) or Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) is the process of injecting water (usually storm water) into an aquifer, then pumping the water in times of demand.
The establishment of a MAR/ASR site requires investigation into the aquifer properties and future water demand.
